About The Retreat Resort The 2009 Retreat will be held at the Arizona Grand Resort (South Mountain). The resort features oversized suites provide intimate, residential-style comfort. Each of the 640 non-smoking suites has been designed with the “natural comfort” of warm desert colors, soft white bedding, bamboo and rattan furnishings and Grand Dream Sleeper pillow-top mattresses. Additionally, every Resort Suite has a private balcony or patio off the bedroom and a separate living room with a queen sofa bed. Arizona Grand Resort provides guests the latest in technological comfort and convenience with digital safe large enough for a 17″ laptop and an oversized work space complete with high-speed and wireless Internet access. This authentic Western steakhouse offers a fun, Old West atmosphere, complete with a live steer who resides outside the eatery’s old mineshaft. You can even enter the dining room by sliding down a tin slide. Dine on mesquite-broiled steaks, meaty barbecued ribs, pork chops, chicken and award-winning chili. Homemade apple pie or bread pudding make for a delicious dessert. After dinner, you can work off the calories dancing to the live Country and Western music. Yee Ha! 3.
